Kigogola Land Fundraising Sabbath

Image
Saturday, 12th April 2025 marked a significant milestone in the history of the growing church family in Seeta Kigogola as we gathered for the Kigogola Women for Christ effort closure . The event crowned the successful conclusion of a two-week site evangelism campaign that laid the foundation for the establishment and growth of God's work in this community. What makes this journey remarkable is the speed at which God has blessed this young congregation. It is almost unimaginable that within just one year of existence, the church has grown to a point where it is actively pursuing the purchase of its own land. This achievement stands as a powerful testimony of God's leading hand and the commitment of His people. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed their time, resources, prayers, and unwavering support toward this noble cause. Special appreciation goes to our dedicated leadership team whose vision and commitment have steered this initiative forwar...

Men’s Affair and Get-Together

Image
The Adventist Men Ministry of  SDA Church Kasangati held a special Men’s Affair and Get-Together , drawing participants from Bulamu, Kyankima and Namavundu for a full-day session of fellowship, learning and spiritual reflection at Victor’s Valley Hotel in Nakwero. The gathering, aimed at strengthening men’s spiritual and social roles in their families and communities, featured Elder Kibuuka Robert as one of the keynote speakers. His message, delivered with a mix of humour and firm counsel, centered on responsibility, discipline and financial stewardship among men. He reminded participants that although men are not perfect, they remain the head of the home,  symbolically representing the brain, eyes, and voice of the family. He said that God placed men in a demanding role that requires wisdom, intentionality and spiritual grounding. Drawing from the Parkinson Law , he urged men to evaluate how they use their time, noting that “the time you allocate to a task is the time y...

A Master's Accreditation For Christ - CLASS OF 2025

Image
Pioneer, leader, superior, the chosen, the mighty, the indisputable, the commander, the host of the king, a man of order, loyal, a maestro of service, a person of great influence and character, brave, obedient to God, wise, faithful, humble, and loving. That was Naaman, with all his greatness, He had a “but of leprosy” and so do we. Each of us must identify and work on our “but” instead of spending our energy elsewhere. Being a Master Guide is not just about wearing a uniform; it is a lifetime commitment to serve the Lord. If we are to be like Naaman, we must possess the character of a winner. Winners train hard even for their debut day encounters. And as Master Guides, remember: the mission is not about the combat or the attire we wear, Pride and a sense of superiority should never define us. Being a master guide to be entrusted not only to lead others but to guide them towards heaven. That is now the primary mission. Be true, be obedient, and ta...

Nurturing as a Habit of the Secretariat Individually

Image
As we marked the close of the  third quarter of the year with the  13th Sabbath , The presence of our guest   Pr. Kyeyune Robert , not only changed our minds on how to mind about us as a congregation but also changed the brightness and sparkle of our church walls in preparation.🌿  Pr. Kyeyune reminded us that every believer who comes to Christ arrives vulnerable and in need of care . Just as new borns require constant attention, love, and patience to grow, so too do God’s people when they step into the family of faith. “ God’s people are His toddlers, ”  They need extreme care, pampering, and nurturing as they learn to walk with Christ. A big call to action question He left paused, Despite all the sacrifices and efforts we make to create a welcoming environment for worship , why do believers still disappear? This question leaves thoughtful reflection on how the church can do more to not only welcome new believers but also walk with them consistently, ens...

God calls each of us for a purpose

Image
20th September was a special sabbath as the global church celebrated World Pathfinder Day marking 75 years of Pathfinders serving strong. Here, the day kicked off with a flag-raising ceremony, led by Pathfinders smartly dressed in their full uniform. Their yellow and vibrant green set the tone for a joyful Sabbath of worship, service, and celebration. The sermon by Nsereko Enoch centred on 1st Samuel 16:7, reminding us that “man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The preacher illustrated this with the example of Mr. Lubinga Godfrey, the first elder of the church. Who would present excuses of not being skilled in marching drills if called to serve as a Pathfinder director.  Just like David, who stood before Goliath armed with nothing but trust in God, we too are called to step forward with faith rather than excuses. The message was clear: God calls each of us for a purpose, and He looks beyond ability to the heart willing to serve. Adding ...

P.A System Sabbath - God Knows Us as Honest Servants, We Only Disappoint Him

Image
God Knows Us as Honest Servants, We Only Disappoint Him – P.A System Sabbath  Before diving into the highlights of this sabbath, we pause to extend our heartfelt condolences to Sister Nalwoga Jullian together with Namubiru Lillian, who lost a beloved mother. As church family, we stand with you in prayer and support. May God’s comforting hand carry you and your family during this period of grief. The Public Address (P.A.) System Department led out in worship, and what a day it was. The department members looked marvellous and united in their new maroon uniforms, a color that gave the premises a fresh vibrance. Alongside them, extra instrumentalists joined in, filling the service with uplifting music that set the tone for unusual praise and worship. Worship came through a powerful sermon by Elder Kagolo Ivan , titled :   “Tulowozebwa nga tuli besigwa.” drawing from Exodus 17 , Numbers 12:3 , and Hebrews 6:10 , Elder Kagolo reminded us  that leadership and service in G...

WORLD ADVENTURER DAY CELEBRATION AT SDA KASANGATI

Image
Celebrating World Adventurer Day at SDA Church Kasangati The community of SDA Church Kasangati came together for a vibrant and uplifting celebration of World Adventurer Day. Under a cloudy but pleasant sky, our spirits soared as we embraced the theme of DOING OUR BEST BECAUSE OF JESUS' LOVE being the "Busy Bees of Christ's Message." This day was filled with music, joy, and a powerful reminder of our mission to spread hope and love within our community. The day began with a lively brass band procession that wound its way through the heart of Kasangati town. As the sounds of the band filled the air, our members, adorned in their bright Adventurer uniforms, marched with enthusiasm and pride. The band music through the streets, drew the attention of onlookers and inviting them to join in the celebration. It was a moving sight to see our children and adults alike stepping in time to the rhythm, with joyful face. This procession was more than just a march; it was a declarat...

"Preparing for the Final Event" Fasting/Prayer Day

Image
Dear Church Family , We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on the journey that is the year 2024. Our first Sabbath of the year was marked with an enlightening sermon under the theme, "Preparing for the Final Event," which centered on the importance of unity, discretion, and forgiveness within the body of believers.  The sermon, drawing inspiration from Matthew 5:20 and James 5:13, emphasized the significance of keeping desecrate within one's self. Our speaker highlighted the need for us to refrain from gossip and to avoid actions that might adversely affect our fellow brethren. The central message resonated with the idea that, as members of the body of Christ, we are called to strengthen our bonds, standing united and avoiding the pitfalls of revenge. Genesis 12 and 13 were invoked to illustrate the importance of unity. The example of taking a person to prison, despite being legally justified, served as a powerful metaphor. We were...

73RD INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER DAY 2023

Image
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I trust this message finds you well and spiritually renewed as we gather again after the spiritually uplifting 2023 camp meeting. It was indeed a week filled with revival and faith renewal, and we are grateful for the wonderful experiences we shared. As we returned to our church, it was still the youth in the driving seat with the Pathfinder Sabbath. First, we praise God for the remarkable work of our chaplaincy department in the local prison of Kasangati Uganda prisons, where several inmates have been baptized, choosing to devote their lives to Christ. During our gathering on 16th the september, as the writer, I was not only moved by the message of a young and confident junior youth BILL CLINTON, but also impressed by his character and preparation. This reminds us of the importance of nurturing self-esteem and confidence in our children, enabling them to face life's challenges with faith. Teach and build a gospel confi...

GROWING IN CHRIST

Image
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! It is with great joy and a heart full of gratitude that I bring you this newsletter focused on growing in Christ and the importance of daily prayer. As the 11th doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church reminds us, our journey with Christ is a continuous process of character elevation and reliance on His mercy. In our Christian walk, it's crucial to remember that we are called to continually grow in Christlikeness. This means seeking to emulate the character of Jesus in our daily lives. One powerful way to achieve this is by going to God in prayer daily. Prayer is our soul's conversation with God, and it sustains us through the challenges of life.   Daily prayer is the lifeline of our Christian journey. Without it, we risk losing touch with our faith. Remember that accepting Christ is just the beginning of a lifelong journey. Through prayer, we engage in an ongoing conversation with God, who fights our battles and g...
