73RD INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER DAY 2023
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I trust this message finds you well and spiritually renewed as we gather again after the spiritually uplifting 2023 camp meeting. It was indeed a week filled with revival and faith renewal, and we are grateful for the wonderful experiences we shared.
As we returned to our church, it was still the youth in the driving seat with the Pathfinder Sabbath. First, we praise God for the remarkable work of our chaplaincy department in the local prison of Kasangati Uganda prisons, where several inmates have been baptized, choosing to devote their lives to Christ.
During our gathering on 16th the september, as the writer, I was not only moved by the message of a young and confident junior youth BILL CLINTON, but also impressed by his character and preparation. This reminds us of the importance of nurturing self-esteem and confidence in our children, enabling them to face life's challenges with faith. Teach and build a gospel confidence in every aspect of your children’s life and things will be easier for them, from job applications to interviews and all persuasive objectives.
Teach your kids something constructive and they’ll never have time for drugs, pornography, gambling and bad peers. Besides the message he delivered, let his character of be an example to all parent to build self-esteem and confidence in their children, if they cannot talk about math’s at least they should boldly and confidently talk about Jesus, his kingdom and his love.
In his words, our preacher reminded us of the storms we all encounter in our lives. Just as the disciples faced a literal storm on the Sea of Galilee, we too face metaphorical storms—challenges, uncertainties, and trials. However, he cautioned us not to forget that we move through these turbulent times with Christ in our lives.
Drawing our attention to the disciples' forgetfulness in the midst of the storm, Bill emphasized how they had just witnessed Jesus performing miracles hours before. Yet, in the chaos of the tempest, they momentarily lost sight of His presence. This serves as a powerful reminder that we, too, can lose sight of Christ when we face life's challenges.
To illustrate this point further, Bill shared the poignant story of a man who lost his way while having a touch with him. This man, like the disciples, momentarily lost his focus and direction. But Jesus is our spotlight, our guiding light, and He will lead our way, no matter how stormy life may become.
Later in the evening, He extended the same message to the English-speaking students church community at Namirembe Hillside High School. This outreach to the youth underscores our commitment to nurturing the next generation of believers and helping them find their way through life's challenges.
Every third Sabbath of the third quarter marks the global celebration of the Pathfinder club in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This year's celebration was the 73rd and it served as a reminder of the path and direction we, as Christians, are called to follow.
Next Sabbath is a special visitor's Sabbath, and we encourage all our members to invite their family and friends to join us. We are delighted to announce that the Kampala Central Church Choir will grace us with their presence on this significant day.
In the course of the week, organize your funds for new lesson books and the morning watch. Not forgetting our children as well, providing them with the materials they need for spiritual growth, just as we do in their education.
In conclusion, let's continue to walk with Christ in our lives, remembering that He is our guiding light, especially in the stormy seas of life. May we support one another in faith, love, and unity.
God bless you all abundantly!
