73RD INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER DAY 2023

Image
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I trust this message finds you well and spiritually renewed as we gather again after the spiritually uplifting 2023 camp meeting. It was indeed a week filled with revival and faith renewal, and we are grateful for the wonderful experiences we shared. As we returned to our church, it was still the youth in the driving seat with the Pathfinder Sabbath. First, we praise God for the remarkable work of our chaplaincy department in the local prison of Kasangati Uganda prisons, where several inmates have been baptized, choosing to devote their lives to Christ. During our gathering on 16th the september, as the writer, I was not only moved by the message of a young and confident junior youth BILL CLINTON, but also impressed by his character and preparation. This reminds us of the importance of nurturing self-esteem and confidence in our children, enabling them to face life's challenges with faith. Teach and build a gospel confi...

GROWING IN CHRIST

Image
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! It is with great joy and a heart full of gratitude that I bring you this newsletter focused on growing in Christ and the importance of daily prayer. As the 11th doctrine of the Seventh-day Adventist Church reminds us, our journey with Christ is a continuous process of character elevation and reliance on His mercy. In our Christian walk, it's crucial to remember that we are called to continually grow in Christlikeness. This means seeking to emulate the character of Jesus in our daily lives. One powerful way to achieve this is by going to God in prayer daily. Prayer is our soul's conversation with God, and it sustains us through the challenges of life.   Daily prayer is the lifeline of our Christian journey. Without it, we risk losing touch with our faith. Remember that accepting Christ is just the beginning of a lifelong journey. Through prayer, we engage in an ongoing conversation with God, who fights our battles and g...

From  Kyanja District,  today’s   update  is  from the 6th day  (Friday, 8 th  September)  of the camp meeting in Kyanja District, part of the East Kampala Zone of the Central Uganda Conference. As we dr e w closer to the climax of this spiritual gathering, today was marked by inspirational messages, baptisms, and community visits.  The 6th day of the camp meeting witnessed an inspiring message delivered by the main speaker, Pastor Ssekitto Noah. He emphasised the need for transformation in the lives of Christians after baptism. Pastor Noah stressed that a baptized individual should not only receive God's grace but actively participate in the Christian journey through prayer, helping others, and preaching the gospel.   "Baptism is just the beginning. After baptism, we are called to a life of service, to pray without ceasing, to help those in need, and to share the word of God."   Putting these words into practice, Pastor Abwire Robe...

A FLAME IN OUR LIVES

Image
Dear Beloved Members   Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We trust this message finds you well and filled with the spirit of love and hope.   As we gather during this blessed Kyanja District Camp Meeting, we reflect on the profound words shared by Pr. SSEKITTO NOAH during Day 3 of our spiritual journey. His powerful message resonates deeply with our hearts, reminding us of the critical importance of staying true to our faith, even in a world that sometimes seems to have lost its way.   Pr. NOAH highlighted the story of King Ahab and how his leadership ultimately led Israel astray, forgetting that it was God who had placed him in his position of authority. This serves as a poignant reminder that our actions, as parents and leaders in our own right, deeply influence the lives of those entrusted to us.   "The acts of the father and mother are the exact acts of the children." These words challenge us to examine our own lives and ask: If Go...
