2023 KYANJA DISTRICT 2023 CAMP MEETING - Day 3 Update


Dear Beloved Members of Kyanja District, East Kampala Zone, greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! We trust this message finds you well and filled with the grace of the Almighty. We want to remind you that our much-anticipated 2023 Camp Meeting is still in full swing, having commenced on Friday, the 1st of September, and will continue until the 9th of September. We are truly excited about the spiritual nourishment and fellowship that this event promises to bring. 



Today marks the 3rd day of our camp meeting, and the skilling sessions have officially kicked off! Don't miss out on the opportunity to acquire valuable soft skills that can empower you in various aspects of life. Remember, these sessions are entirely free, so make the most of them. Parents, please make sure your children attend their camp at Kyanja View, especially since it's the holiday season – a perfect time for personal growth and development in Christ for our little ones.



We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have been tirelessly working on and behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of our camp meeting. Your dedication and efforts are highly appreciated, and it's your commitment that makes this gathering possible. As we continue gathering to strengthen our spiritual lives and build strength in our families, we kindly urge all members to meet their financial goals by contributing the camp expense fees. Your financial support is essential to ensure that everything runs seamlessly and that everyone can fully participate and enjoy the camp's activities. 







Let us not forget the primary reason we come together during this camp meeting – to draw closer to the Lord and grow in our faith. Men’s Affair and Get-Together

The Adventist Men Ministry of  SDA Church Kasangati held a special Men’s Affair and Get-Together , drawing participants from Bulamu, Kyankima and Namavundu for a full-day session of fellowship, learning and spiritual reflection at Victor’s Valley Hotel in Nakwero. The gathering, aimed at strengthening men’s spiritual and social roles in their families and communities, featured Elder Kibuuka Robert as one of the keynote speakers. His message, delivered with a mix of humour and firm counsel, centered on responsibility, discipline and financial stewardship among men. He reminded participants that although men are not perfect, they remain the head of the home,  symbolically representing the brain, eyes, and voice of the family. He said that God placed men in a demanding role that requires wisdom, intentionality and spiritual grounding. God calls each of us for a purpose

20th September was a special sabbath as the global church celebrated World Pathfinder Day marking 75 years of Pathfinders serving strong. Here, the day kicked off with a flag-raising ceremony, led by Pathfinders smartly dressed in their full uniform. Their yellow and vibrant green set the tone for a joyful Sabbath of worship, service, and celebration. The sermon by Nsereko Enoch centred on 1st Samuel 16:7, reminding us that “man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The preacher illustrated this with the example of Mr. Lubinga Godfrey, the first elder of the church.
