Nurturing as a Habit of the Secretariat Individually

As we marked the close of the third quarter of the year with the 13th Sabbath, The presence of our guest  Pr. Kyeyune Robert, not only changed our minds on how to mind about us as a congregation but also changed the brightness and sparkle of our church walls in preparation.🌿

Pr. Kyeyune reminded us that every believer who comes to Christ arrives vulnerable and in need of care. Just as new borns require constant attention, love, and patience to grow, so too do God’s people when they step into the family of faith. “God’s people are His toddlers,”  They need extreme care, pampering, and nurturing as they learn to walk with Christ. A big call to action question He left paused, Despite all the sacrifices and efforts we make to create a welcoming environment for worship, why do believers still disappear?

This question leaves thoughtful reflection on how the church can do more to not only welcome new believers but also walk with them consistently, ensuring they are strengthened and supported as they grow spiritually.

Our worship took place in a familiar yet renewed environment  the old premises now beautifully refreshed with a new coat of VIM paint, we thank you all coz these are surely your sacrificed moneys and efforts. The new look brings a sign of togetherness and hope for bigger things, God surely continually renews His people and His church.

Sabbath was further graced by the presence of SDA Church Kigogola members and their determined choir, dressed smartly in blue with joyful songs of praise. Shalom Church was also present, adding to salt to the day.

As we closed the quarter, the day served as a powerful reminder that ministry is not just about preaching or programs, it’s about people. It’s about nurturing, loving, and patiently walking with one another as we grow in Christ.

Our prayer is that as we step into the next quarter, we will make nurturing a daily habit, ensuring no believer walks alone, no new member feels forgotten, and no soul slips away from the embrace of God’s family.

Announcements

In the course of the week, organize your funds for new lesson books. Not forgetting our children as well, providing them with the materials they need for spiritual growth, just as we do in their formal education.

In conclusion, let's continue to walk with Christ in our lives, remembering that He is our guiding light, especially in the stormy seas of life. May we support one another in faith, love, and unity.

God bless you all abundantly!
