"Preparing for the Final Event" Fasting/Prayer Day
Dear Church Family , We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on the journey that is the year 2024. Our first Sabbath of the year was marked with an enlightening sermon under the theme, "Preparing for the Final Event," which centered on the importance of unity, discretion, and forgiveness within the body of believers. The sermon, drawing inspiration from Matthew 5:20 and James 5:13, emphasized the significance of keeping desecrate within one's self. Our speaker highlighted the need for us to refrain from gossip and to avoid actions that might adversely affect our fellow brethren. The central message resonated with the idea that, as members of the body of Christ, we are called to strengthen our bonds, standing united and avoiding the pitfalls of revenge.
