"Preparing for the Final Event" Fasting/Prayer Day

Dear Church Family , We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on the journey that is the year 2024. Our first Sabbath of the year was marked with an enlightening sermon under the theme, "Preparing for the Final Event," which centered on the importance of unity, discretion, and forgiveness within the body of believers.  The sermon, drawing inspiration from Matthew 5:20 and James 5:13, emphasized the significance of keeping desecrate within one's self. Our speaker highlighted the need for us to refrain from gossip and to avoid actions that might adversely affect our fellow brethren. The central message resonated with the idea that, as members of the body of Christ, we are called to strengthen our bonds, standing united and avoiding the pitfalls of revenge. We trust that this message finds you in good health and high spirits as we embark on a new year filled with hope, faith, and the promises of God's abundant blessings. Stepping into 2024, let us take a moment to reflect on the meaningful and spiritually enriching gathering we had on the first Tuesday of the month of January at SDA church Kyankima. The continued tradition and habit of fasting and prayer once again was held at SDA Church Kyankima on the 2nd of January 2024, where the Women's Ministry of Kyanja District as usual organised a day devoted to seeking the face of the Lord. The atmosphere was charged with reverence and anticipation as attendees gathered to dedicate the first Tuesday of the month to the Almighty. The event featured five keynote speakers, (Ev Muhanguzi Eric, Eld Bbosa Godfrey, Eld Gakyeli Pascal, Eld Ssebalu Richard, and Eld Lubaale Erisa) each delivering powerful messages that resonated with the new year.
