You will not know how strong you are until being strong is the only option.

Greetings, Beloved Members of SDA Church Kasangati,

We hope this finds you well and blessed in the grace of our Lord. We're thrilled to share the vibrant events of the past Social and Welfare Sabbath, which left a colourful mark in our hearts.

On August 12th, we gathered for a special Social and Welfare Sabbath at Church. Our Social and Welfare department truly outdid themselves, transforming our worship experience into a vibrant tapestry of community and worship, bringing our two other churches with us. The captivating melodies of the Great Glorious Singers Choir uplifted our spirits, and the dynamic preaching of our young vibrant preacher Ev Matia Maganda left an indelible mark.

In his powerful sermon, he reminded us of the deep wisdom found in God's Word. God, in His generosity, grants us seasons of abundance and seasons of scarcity. Just as we prepare for drought during harvest time, we must cultivate our faith and trust in God during seasons of plenty to sustain us in times of need. To solve any problem, we must first acknowledge and understand it. Let us bring our challenges before God, seeking His wisdom and guidance in finding solutions. Our true strength emerges when being strong is our only option. Remember, God's strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. The devil may try to corner us with limited options, but we must remember that God's plan for us is far greater than any circumstance.

God doesn't prefer those with numerous options, as He already has an abundance to choose from. Let's use our resources wisely and bless others with what we have. Pray to become a blessing to others, allowing them to benefit from your presence and actions. Our worries fade when we remember that we serve a mighty and powerful God. Have faith, for God is with us.

Our hearts were not only touched by the powerful message and uplifting music, but also culinary excellence. The Social and Welfare team, wowed us with an abundance of delectable dishes that left an indelible mark on our senses. The sight of beautifully arranged platters, the tantalizing aromas that filled the air, and the symphony of flavours that graced our palates were beyond compare. This culinary feast was more than just a meal – it was a testament to the department's unwavering commitment to nurturing both our spiritual and physical well-being. As we savoured each bite, we were reminded that their dedication knows no bounds, and their efforts truly amplified the sense of unity and love within our church community. This extraordinary feast, something never seen before, will undoubtedly remain etched in our memories as a symbol of the warmth, care, and exceptional service that define our church family.

Else where in the children's church the highlight and big lesson of the sabbath was double birthdays marking the passage of time, but they were also an opportunity to reflect on God's grace and the journey we're on. As parents, let's teach our kids to celebrate with a heart full of gratitude.  Every year added to a child's life is a reminder of God's love and purpose. Teaching them to celebrate birthdays is teaching them to value the days given to us. Let's instil in our kids the importance of celebrating life while remembering the One who gave it.

As we reflect on these valuable insights, let's focus on our ongoing preparations for our upcoming camp meeting. Each member is encouraged to diligently work towards clearing their camp meeting financial goals. Remember, our camp meeting is not just a gathering; it's an opportunity for spiritual growth. By contributing and fulfilling our financial commitments, we ensure the success of this crucial event. Your commitment to clearing your camp meeting goals will contribute to the success of our shared mission.

Thank you for your dedication to the church community, and may God's blessings continue to flow abundantly upon you.

In Christ's Love,

Tumwebaze Alex
