NEVER TRY WITH GOD, BECAUSE HE IS ABLE

Dearest Members of God's Flock,

We hope this newsletter finds you well and filled with the blessings of the Lord. Here is a recap of the recent happenings. On Tuesday, August 1st, we gathered for a powerful time of fasting and prayer at SDA church Nangabo. Members from various churches gathered, creating an atmosphere of unity and spiritual harmony. During the event, Ev. Muhanguzi Eric, inspired by John chapter 4, guided us through a profound message. He reminded us that the material possessions we often chase only leave us spiritually thirsty. Let us remember that true satisfaction lies in Jesus and His living water. A content heart is generous, even in the absence of physical abundance.

In addition, Elder Kagulanyi John from Seeta graced us with his presence and inspiring words. He emphasized that prayer is not an experiment, but a powerful solution backed by God's unwavering promise. Let us anchor our prayers in faith, for they establish and nurture an unbreakable connection with our divine source. Let the Lord's Prayer serve as our guide, leading us to deeper communion with our Heavenly Father.

Elsewhere, last Friday, in a picturesque ceremony by the lakeside, our dear church elder Ivan and his wife Allen renewed their wedding vows after a decade of marital bliss. Their elegant white party-themed celebration not only celebrated their love but also highlighted the blessings and grace that Christ has bestowed upon their journey. Let us extend our heartfelt wishes and prayers for continued love and harmony in their marriage.

Sabbath's sermon delivered by our very own Ev Muhanguzi Eric echoed with urgency. Time is fleeting, and our choices determine our eternal destiny. The mercy of God has a timeframe, and we are reminded to live each moment in preparation for our heavenly home. Let us heed the call to turn our hearts fully to Christ and relinquish worldly burdens that hinder our progress toward God's kingdom.

Mark your calendars for August 26th, 2023, as we eagerly anticipate the Pathfinder Club's investiture and induction ceremony. Our youth are a beacon of hope for our church's future, and your support is invaluable. Please reach out to Mrs. Grace Kafuuma, the club treasurer, to contribute toward this colourful and significant event. Remember, investing in our youth is an investment in the church's legacy.

Let us encourage one another to meet our camp meeting goals promptly. As we strive toward these objectives, we draw closer to God and strengthen our commitment to our faith journey. May our efforts be a testament to our dedication to spiritual growth and unity within our church family.

In closing, let us continue to be steadfast in prayer, support one another, and exemplify the love of Christ in all that we do. May the coming week be filled with blessings, grace, and opportunities to grow closer to our Lord.
