Hope for Africa

We are excited to share some incredible news with you that has the potential to uplift our spirits and enrich our faith. In just two weeks, a beacon of wisdom, experience, and inspiration, Mark Finley, former Vice President of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, is set to grace Kenya with his presence for a transformative event titled "Hope for Africa." While we may not be physically in Kenya, our proximity as neighbours in the East-Central Africa Division makes this event deeply relevant to us.

Mark your calendars from 2nd September to 16th September and prepare your hearts for an unforgettable experience! Even though we cannot be there in person, we have the privilege of participating in this event through various online platforms. The event will be hosted by New life SDA Church in Nairobi and will be broadcasted through social media channels. This is a golden chance to connect with fellow believers across borders, to learn and grow together as one united body of Christ.

Mark Finley's journey through life has been a testament to his unyielding dedication to sharing the message of hope and salvation. He is a televangelist, and he was the first Seventh-day Adventist pastor to do a satellite evangelistic series. He has also written several spiritual books over the years. With decades of experience in preaching the Gospel, his wisdom and insights have the power to touch our lives in profound ways. His history is a tapestry woven with faith, dedication, and a passion for spreading God's word to the corners of the earth.

The significance of this event reaches far beyond geographical boundaries. It's an opportunity to learn, to be inspired, and to strengthen our understanding of the Gospel's relevance in our lives, families, and communities. Not only will Mark Finley grace us with his words, but we will also have the privilege of hearing from Doctor Chidi, addressing health matters from Healing Africa, and Pr. Mmbaga David, offering insights into family life.


 

Dear Ugandans, our neighbours in Kenya beckon us to unite in spirit and purpose. Knowledge is indeed power and wealth, and this event promises to enrich us with insights that can transform our lives. Men’s Affair and Get-Together

The Adventist Men Ministry of  SDA Church Kasangati held a special Men’s Affair and Get-Together , drawing participants from Bulamu, Kyankima and Namavundu for a full-day session of fellowship, learning and spiritual reflection at Victor’s Valley Hotel in Nakwero. The gathering, aimed at strengthening men’s spiritual and social roles in their families and communities, featured Elder Kibuuka Robert as one of the keynote speakers. His message, delivered with a mix of humour and firm counsel, centered on responsibility, discipline and financial stewardship among men. He reminded participants that although men are not perfect, they remain the head of the home,  symbolically representing the brain, eyes, and voice of the family. God calls each of us for a purpose

20th September was a special sabbath as the global church celebrated World Pathfinder Day marking 75 years of Pathfinders serving strong. Here, the day kicked off with a flag-raising ceremony, led by Pathfinders smartly dressed in their full uniform. Their yellow and vibrant green set the tone for a joyful Sabbath of worship, service, and celebration. The sermon by Nsereko Enoch centred on 1st Samuel 16:7, reminding us that “man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” The preacher illustrated this with the example of Mr. Lubinga Godfrey, the first elder of the church.
